Sofia Xoulidou (b. 2003) is a visual artist based between Ioannina and Thessaloniki, Greece. Her practice is rooted in painting and drawing, with moving image functioning as an extension of her material and perceptual research. Exploring spatial tension and the quiet transformation of surfaces through time, her work has been recognized internationally, including being honored with the 1st Prize in the Short Film category at "Out from the Mist" (Australia) and undertaking a Public Art Commission by the City of Orlando, Florida. She is currently completing her Integrated Master’s Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Ioannina.
